sea
fishing in scotland |
One of our aims is to bring all types of fishing in Scotland to
all. So although we are based amidst the memorable landscapes of
Highland Perthshire, our portfolio of fishing experiences would
not be complete without some great sea fishing excursions and trips.
Despite the ‘lie of the land’ – we can always
get to the sea easily in Scotland! And wonderful scenery is always
included. A great way of getting a close look at some magical coasts,
beaches and inlets - and enjoy a great day’s fishing - or
perhaps just observe the scenery
Here are our two featured sea fishing excursions
Ballachulish
Catch - summer mackerel fishing, Pollock fishing, sea trout and
salmon
This trip takes you to Ballachulish, Argyll - on the shores of
Loch Linnhe near Fort William. This major sea loch penetrates far
inland, and in and around Ballachulish has to be one of the most
picturesque vistas in the whole of Scotland. We will en sure that
you have all the specialist tackle required. Fish can be caught
from the shore, or by boat. Argyll is the ideal place to catch sea
trout straight from the sea. They run in decent numbers throughout
the season and are present in most of the sea lochs that Argyll
has to offer.
Loch Etive
Catch -Pollock, skate, mackerel, salmon, sea trout
This trip takes us to wonderful Loch Etive in Argyll, a magnificent
inland sea loch running from near Oban to the glorious Glen Etive
on the outskirts of Glencoe, and one of the most unique sea lochs
in the UK. where there are plenty of sea trout to be caught in the
loch, as well as other sea fish. Visit the local seals. Try your
hand at fly fishing for trout and enjoy the truly dramatic scenery.
Bottom fishing from the shore will produce a wide variety of sea
species but boat fishing will yield a much larger variety of species.
